I'd like Yammer to...

Allow admins to export a group members list

Allow admins to export a group members list via the group settings, and highlight which members are admins. This can be useful when a group is changing and its membership needs top be reviewed, and also if a group is closing in favour of using another group. The group members could be invited to the other group by exporting them into a csv and then uploading them into the other group.

Ok you have plans, but when will this happen ? Is it so difficult to add a button to list the members, even in a basic way like an html page so we can copy/paste it ? It is an information security issue not allow admin to manage precisely the members of a private group when you are in a big company with confidential projects.

I bulk uploaded members into the group that I am an Admin of, and I notice that the numbers don't match up. It appears that some of the uploads failed, but Yammer did not notify me of this. Now I have to manually compare to see who's membership upload failed. It would be ideal if I could export a list of the members in my group rather than having to go through the current member interface.

        Please add this soon!

Is there any update on the release date for this feature? Thanks!

I think the real user story here is: As a community admin, I want an interface for managing the members of my community; i.e. add users, remove users, export a list, store demographic data for users (e.g. address, phone number, certifications), provide metrics on users,

We are encouraging our users to use Yammer for outer loop collaboration. This is great because it allows our employees to join/remove themselves from Yammer groups and so these lists self-manage themselves without any admin overhead in maintaining a disconnected list. However, owners still need to occasionally send email to members and so a way for group owners to export a list of their members so that they can do an email blast would be great.

Yes, members can choose to subscribe but this is a manual process for each individual. If there is an important announcement that needs to be sent, some members may not receive it. We really need a nice and easy way for people to do this. I am aware that there are APIs in Yammer, SharePoint, and Graph but this is something that requires a developer to set up.

Is this ever going to happen??!! The fact you cannot do this with a current/"new" Microsoft program is ridiculous.... this is such a basic feature

Every Friday I have to manually type in a spreadsheet who has joined/left the group, what are their names, titles, email addresses. Ideally, Yammer would be able to provide the option to download all this information automatically. It is critical for me to know this information, as we are using the Yammer group to build a community of our nurses around the world. To engage leaders and tailor the content of the group, it is important to know how many nurses from our different countries have joined the group. At the moment there is no way for us to easily find this information out through Yammer.

Not just group admins need this, verified network admins need this to assist groups as well. Merging groups is a challenge at times, we have a large network (over 175K) and when organizational changes occur, groups need to be merged quickly and as Network Admins we can't even provide our business leaders with a simple list of members.

In my community, I have had many requests for group lists from admins so they can target email those folks who have yet to join the group to increase adoption.

I have had requests from some group owners that they would like a list of users within their groups with a view to removing users that are no longer with our company or guest company. They have other reasons for the list too such as emailing the group (as announcements do not always come through)

To do this at the moment requires a mix of JSON or copying and pasting plus exporting all users to find out which ones are inactive etc.
